Bregan MainsFlow ltd was formed in October 2017 by David Aylott and Glenn Brett. With our vast experience within the industry, we quickly won some larger scale works that put us onto the right tracks. Such as designing and installing a new water main for the queen of Kuwait and managing to open contracts with surrounding businesses. Such as NBC Watford, BRE in Watford and Savills the estate agent.

These contracts enabled us to take on additional operatives and to start supporting tier one contractors within our geographical area such as PN Daly and M&S water. Whilst working with the tier one companies, we started becoming very commercially aware at an incredibly young age.

We started investing heavily into our health and safety that enabled us to achieve our 1st ever Achilles’ score.  As we were now on the Achilles data base, we were able to approach other contractors. This approach enabled us to support the Agility Alliance contract on behalf of Thames Water.

Because of our strong work ethic, we soon became one of Agility Alliance preferred contractor and started to increase in size. This size increase enabled us to have a larger turnover that in return enabled us to open our own offices with yard space. We now have 22 operatives, 1 x machine operator and a field supervisor working this contract.

When Covid 19 started, the contracts downsized our teams meaning we needed to source our operative’s work. We did this by opening another contract with Lite Access on behalf of city fibre.

With our water contracts ticking over and Lite Access providing additional work we noticed that we were growing and recruiting more operatives. This lead us to taking on our own health and safety representative ‘3D Safety Management Ltd.’

Due to our approach of undertaking all tasks to the best of our ability we started to be asked if we could take on larger scale work with the developers. For us to do this we needed to be WIRS registered. In November 2020 Bregan MainsFlow ltd was awarded the Lloyds Register WIRS accreditation. From this we have a WIRS manager to look after these works.

From April 2019 we had supported PN Daly with the NHH metering side on behalf of Affinity Water. When PN Daly gave up the contract Affinity Water asked if we could take on an emergency 6-month contract to see them into amp 7. We took this up and are currently looking to enjoy amp 7 after successfully wining the next 4 years for the NHH and the Optants. Leading to BMF taking on a new manager to solely look after this contract with a new larger yard.

We started supporting the Clancy Group in August 2020 and currently have 7 x teams working on the RM contract out of the Milton Keynes and Northampton depot.

BMF was called into the CLC yard last month and asked to support them on the R&M contract for AMP 7. We have taken this task up and currently have 8 x operatives supporting CLC.
